Lee, Jackson & Maury Commemoration

The Stuart-Mosby Historical Society is honored to sponsor the Lee Jackson & Maury Memorial Event. It is hoped that the membership will also come out and bring guests – especially those unfamiliar with our heritage, so that they might learn about these three noble men.

Date: The tentative date is the third Saturday in January 2019.

Place: State Capitol, Old House Chamber, Richmond at 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. but the building is reserved starting at 10 a.m.

Lunch: To be determined.

Program:  To be determined at a later date.

Cost: The ceremony is free but there will be a cost for lunch.

No reservation is required for this memorial ceremony. If you wish to "drop in," you are certainly welcome. However, if you know that you will be going, it would be apreciated if you let  us know so that we have some idea of how many will be attending. In this way, it is easier to decide where to go for a repast after the ceremonies. Obviously, the size of the gathering affects that choice.  Contact Ben Trittipoe at btritt1@gmail.com for more information.
